I had the pleasure of working with Jane who masterfully guided Travelodge through a complex transformational programme. I have had the privilege of working closely with Jane for 2 years as she led the self-serve program at Travelodge from its inception to successful delivery. Jane holds people accountable without them realizing it, and guides the senior team to make informed decisions. She led the recruitment process of our new, incredibly talented, and highly motivational Musical Director Anne Fairbrother; navigated the creation, development, content and launch of our fabulous new website (Harmony Belles ) and new logo; introduced new admin processes, newsletters, and regular updates to support us in collaborating together as a choir, welcoming new members and ensuring we are all up-to-the-minute with all things Harmony Belles.

All of this has been delivered with calmness, insight, understanding, outstanding communication skills and exemplary patience.

The Harmony Belles of today and all future members, will forever be in her debt for her exceptional leadership and guidance.

Jane is a perfect example of our diverse backgrounds, capabilities, and skills, operating in the world outside of choir as a self-employed Strategic Consultant, who launched her new business ‘From the Hilltop’ in 2021 and is building her client base, following a long, successful career with Waitrose.

Jane is an experienced, professional leader, with excellent commercial/procurement skills honed as a Head of Trading for Waitrose & Partners and in her earlier career with Safeway.
She has also led strategic change & transformation Projects across multiple disciplines & stakeholders.
Her style is inclusive & collaborative with a focus on the end goal and bringing individuals & teams on the journey to time & cost .
As a Strategic Business Consultant, she brings a refreshing & positive approach to projects. 

Jane from 'From the Hill Top Ltd'  coached both my sons, one leaving university and one leaving school, in order to assist with their career progression. Both had worked during summer holidays but needed personal development in terms of realising their skills and learning how to articulate those in the interview process, something that is not natural to all. It was a process of realising their achievements in tasks that appear minor but actually show acumen, capability, initiative and responsibility. As a parent, despite how talented I know my kids are, they (and I) baulk at the arrogance shown on reality TV shows like 'The Apprentice'.
